Lance has more than 12 years of daily newspaper experience in Tennessee and Georgia. As an award-winning reporter, editor and featured columnist, he covered a multitude of subjects including education, health care, the music industry, the legal system and college and professional sports. For more than six years he directed the communications, media relations and PR efforts of one of Tennessee's most active and visible trade associations, serving as statewide spokesman for the long-term care industry. He is experienced in Web site and video development as well as budgeting, designing and planning of PR and marketing campaigns.

Lance is available to your organization as a speaker/trainer/coach in the areas of communication, media relations, PR, strategic planning and effective business writing.

Lance is past president of the Society of Long Term Care Communicators and a member of the Public Relations Society of America, the Tennessee Society of Association Executives and the National Eagle Scout Association. He's the President of the Williamson County Soccer Association and an active supporter and coach of youth sports. A native of Birmingham, Ala., he holds a degree in journalism from the University of Alabama.
